It was because Russia wanted to save its naval base in the Crimea why Russia took back the Crimea. 

It was only a single defensive maneuver. 

The condition for Ukraine to join NATO would be the expulsion of foreign military bases from Ukrainian territory. That would mean expelling Russia from its historic naval base at Sebastopol

The American government's "argument" here reminds me of the old joke about the man who was brought to court on charges of "reckless driving" and "hit and run." When asked for his side of the story he said; "I was just driving my car along the highway minding my own business until suddenly this guy walking on the shoulder of the road hits my car and then goes under it!"

But the US position here is so indicative their propagandistic modus operandi; namely, whenever they do something horrific and criminal they immediately blame it on one of their "usual suspects," and, if at all possible, Putin and the Russian Federation. They then completely distort what actually happened, make up their own new "facts, like say the fabrication that the Ukraine crisis is about "peaceful protestors and their democratic government" simply standing up to a [non-existant] Russian invasion.  

They then quickly and self-righteously double down on doing the same kinds of murderous things that they were already up to before. In this case, they even make the truly preposterous claim that simply by being located where it is, Russia is "aggressively threatening" the literally hundreds of US military bases with which America -- er, I mean "NATO" of course --has tightly surrounded Russia from every direction!

German journalist Udo Ulfkotte reveals in his bestseller ‘Bought Journalists’, how he was “taught to lie, to betray and not to tell the truth to the public.”

The former editor of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, which is one of Germany’s largest newspapers, was secretly on the payroll of the CIA and the Bundesnachrichtendienst (German secret service), spinning the news in a way that was positive for the United States and bad for its enemies.

According to Ulfkotte the corruption is widely spread in the Western media. Some media are just propaganda outlets of political parties, secret services and high finance entities.

If you see how the mainstream media is reporting about the Ukraine conflict and if you know what’s really going on, you get the picture. Denmark to ban sex with animals

Finally, after years of campaigning by thousands and awareness created by #RT especially, the Danes are forced into making the rape of animals illegal. Unbelievably 25% of Danes apparently didn't want it banned WTF!!!
 Lets just hope its less in Sweden and Germany where it was made illegal only within the past year.
