The Russian Foreign Ministry responded with a scathing statement to the EU’s new round of sanctions against Russia, saying Europe apparently has no insight into the political situation in Ukraine.

“Instead of forcing the Kiev clique to sit down with south-eastern Ukraine to negotiate the country’s future
 political system, our partners are toeing Washington’s 
line to take more unfriendly gestures towards Russia,”
the statement declared.

“If somebody in Brussels hopes to stabilize the situation in 

Ukraine by this, it is evidence of a total lack of understanding  
 of the internal political situation in that country and invites local 
neo-Nazis to continue their lawlessness and thuggery 
towards the peaceful civilians of the south-east,”  
 the statement said.“Are you not ashamed?”

Ukraine Supplying Syrian Jihadists Since 2011

TEHRAN (FNA)- Ukraine has bee supplying arms to the militants in Syria in the last three years, German magazine Der Spiegel said.

The Ukrainian state concern Ukroboronprom sends weapons over Germany to Syria. Yet, the German foreign department denied the revelation in a statement saying, "It is not clear, to which place in Germany the weapons are transported."

The rifles were sent to Germany for "modifications," an official said to der Spiegel.

The magazine cited the American Think Tank Jamestown Foundation (connected with US-Spy Agencies). 

The Think Tank believes, that the weapons are sent from Ukraine to the Syrian rebels via Germany. 

Jamestown speaks about a number over 54 000 rifles for jihadists supplied only in 2011 and 2012. "They could be used for covert operations in syria," Jamestown said to Spiegel.

The German government doesn't want to investigate the shipments. "It is scandalous, that the German government can't say anything about the actual place of the weapons," German lawmaker Sevim Dagdelen said. It would be very possible, that the weapons reached jihadists in Syria.
