Save a Jaguar by killing an Orang Utan!

The broadcasting channel 'Sky' have been condemned by sustainable conservationists for having double standards on protecting endangered species.

The channel have been running their 'Adopt a Jaguar - Save the Rainforest' campaign for several years, matching donations that the public makes. Admiral as that sounds, the success of the campaign is unknown - especially as recent evidence suggests that the Amazon Rainforest is being sprayed with 'Agent Orange' or other highly toxic Monsanto products, in order to clear all vegetation for soya and beef production.

The channel meanwhile are being paid by the company Asian Paper and Pulp (APP) to advertise their plantations in Indonesia as an environmentally friendly tree planting business.

However, they claim in the advert that their tree plantations are grown on scrub land and rainforest is only destroyed by people affected by poverty, a financial situation APP says is alleviated  by their company.

 Both claims are false!

Scrub land used to be rainforest and only the relatively few employees will benefit financially, as the trees they plant for paper production will not allow for animals or most native people to benefit from the newly created habitat.

The Orang Utan's plight therefore will continue to diminish through lack of habitat, traditionally destroyed for palm oil and now paper - Hence, there's no such thing as paperless billing with sky!

Notice how fabricated these adds were with the woman's same response being given to different points at the end of the first and beginning of the second video!
