In an ideal world people should feel free to spread awareness, but you have to remember many of Russia's neighbors execute gay men whilst other pay millions of pounds to them for comically prancing about on stage and TV. It's up to Russians to find the middle ground, just like they are trying to do in Syria - A Combination of Are You Been Served, ABBA and keeping quite in or away from Christian, Jewish, Muslim or Pikey areas, just like in the UK should make life slowly better for proud gay Russians.
