The self-determination of the people of the Russian Crimea through a peaceful referendum is to be applauded, despite the vitriol and hyperbolic rhetoric, hypocrisy and derision from the hypocrite in chief, the war-monger Obama and his toady sycophants within the EU ''leadership''; Merkel, Hollande,Cameron,Hague et al.
It is obvious that the $5 thousand million and more spent by the US regime of Herr Obama for the subversion of democracy in the Ukraine in order to further US hegemony and install NATO bases with guided nuclear weaponised missile sites in the Ukraine is in line with the US programme for Full Spectrum US Military and Economic Global Dominance. The policy of destructive chaos,as has been witnessed in the Ukraine, in Libya, in Syria, Iraq and in Venezuela is still meant to be pursued actively within the Russian Federation as well. One can hope that for the integrity and the security of the Russian Federation, that all US and EU foreigners in Russia directly associated with so called 'Non-Governmental Organisations' such as the National Endowment for Democracy and the USIA, which are both notorious CIA fronts funded by the US Congress, along with so called charities, Mormon missionaries and the like be promptly expelled from the territory of the Russian Federation as security against the continuing existential threat posed by the Obama regime against the Russian Federation.- Oscarsusername parauparau
That's GOT to be worth 30 roubles. If you'd mentioned the Masonic-Jewish conspiracy, you'd have got 35 roubles. - Taf1980uk Oscarsusername
War monger Obama, wow, where did Bush and Blair rank? All in all, this is a fantastic bit of Putin propaganda! but one key question. If it was so democratic, how come there was no option on the ballot sheet for things to stay the way they were?Look forward to your response on that one! Oh and as for the West sponsoring all these fronts, Russia has not done the same I assume?Wouldnt for one second suggest the West is whiter than white but the comments are pretty laughable, Obama has been the softest US president in years!Laters Comrade! - Ahnon IMaus parauparau
That rant sounds really funny.Your whine about Obama is not proven by reality. If Obama was the oligarch you suggest, Russia would be having to deal with anti-missile systems to protect Europe from Russian nuclear attack. As of today it is not.Russia is propping up the mass murderer Assad in Syria. Russia is propping up the genocidal apocalyptic mullahs in Iran. No country that you would ever visit would voluntarily join Putin's Russia.Rolling tanks into Crimea might make the Russian's seem strong but try that on a NATO member and you might find out that your military technology is several decades behind the West. You aricraft carrier (I think you only have one) needs tug boats to tow it across the ocean. You have no fith generation fighter planes. Shorts of your military driving around in 20th century tanks is almost quaint. The favour Putin has done the West is to remind us what it means to have dictatorships on its borders, and how unwise it is to buy fuel from them.I feel sorry for you that as the next few years roll by you will see an ever increasing gap as Russia falls behind Western technology and as the West turns away from Russian fuel supplies. After all, it seems that after natural gas the only thing Russia can export is ageing tanks.Russia is a petro-vassal, nothing more. It has a shrinking population. Russia is antagonising natural allies in Europe while its Southern Republics are falling to Jihadist extremists. You have ensured a strong new leadership in Europe and your alienation from the community of developed nations. - baltazar Taf1980uk
Propaganda is a relative term, depending on who uses it. As for "how come, there was no option....", I need not remind you that referendum does not equal "election".As for Bush and Blair, I agree. Bush is where he belongs, in forgotten land. Balair, on the contrary, instead of being where a poodle belongs, in forgotten land with his master, thanks to stupidity of those who installed him in the Middle East,is still doing his mediocre, diletantic, double-faced, double-standard, fifth-grader- diplomacy - Andrei Cazacu parauparau
If the Scottish referendum was organized within 10 days with foreign troops in the streets, you'd be up in arms. Why so much disdain for due process and the rule of law? - thunderstorm parauparau
heil honey, i.m home.
back to izvestia for you my lad. get your paragraphs sorted too. - LeDingue tigi
what planet are you on?
Planet factual reality, though I personally don't believe that the US president has any significant power, his job is mostly tv appearances and pretending to be in control so the citizens don't suspect and become upset ...
Apart from that minor criticism I think parauparau has given a reasonable and succinct summary - a list of facts more or less. - Oilyheart Ahnon IMaus
What aircraft carrier are you talking about? Crimea IS an aircraft carrier and never needs a tugboat. Why do you think the first thing "Crimean self-defense forces" did was to take control of all the airports and airfields. Crimea was the "aircraft carrier" Stalin was using to bomb Romanian oilfields, right?Because Crimea is once again Russia's largest aircraft carrier, it would not be a cakewalk for Nato to try and get air superiority over Ukraine and that is probably why John McCain is so incensed that they can't repeat Monika's War.As for Russia being nothing more than a "gas station," that's not what the Sleeping Prophet, Edgar Cayce, has to say. His visions told him that Russia is the mineral richest nation on earth; a great prize. Just because the Russians are paranoid doesn't mean somebody isn't out to get them. - jackmormon Oilyheart
USA same military budget as next ten nations. NATO without USA same budget as next ten. You need to get out more. Maybe go watch the US deployments in the Baltic states near St Petersburg. Triggered by Putin's expansionism - liberalfish1 Andrei Cazacu
Like the Kiev coup? That kind of due process and law? Have a read of this. The juvenile angle is not the answer to any of this. - ID1723436 parauparau
And if you trouble yourself to Google 'Snowden leaks' you will find that you have not even come anywhere near the tip of the iceberg!Nothing can be argued because it's all stamped classified.Thank You President Google - tigi LeDingue
You are no more reality based than parauparau. Mr Putin would be pleased to read your comment but fact remains he has invaded another sovereign country and hopefully will be punished and humiliated as he should be. Russia is a dangerous and lawlwss region that the world should keep at arms length. - Birindelli Taf1980uk
That has to be the stupidest comment I've ever heard! Seriously, how can you have an option for things to stay as they are when>The Ukrainian Constitution has been null and void since around February 22, 2014, when the Kiev mob overthrew a democratically elected President and the opposition seized power.http://philsreport.blogspot.co.uk/2014/03/five-myths-about-crimean-referendum.html
