When the BBC's main football commentator doesn't understand Goal Line Technology, and is still ranting on about what a shambles it is 2 days after he's been informed live on air about how it works > alarm bells should be ringing in the ears of people who still believe or rely on BBC staff for information!
In the past year we've seen the BBC do late night TV and radio broadcasts about the US led Nazis taking over Ukraine and committing massacres, yet they still insist on vilifying their innocent victims; who they refer to as just pro-Russian rather than the anti-nazi stance they have that has forced them to want closer ties with Russia, rather than the Nazis that now run Ukraine!
In Syria the BBC along with most other mainstream media still refer to President Assad as an evil dictator despite him winning around 90% of the votes in the 2014 election. Moreover the people fighting him (who are mostly Saudi and US funded foreigners linked to al-Qaeda) commit 100's of vile war crimes daily in Syria and yet are called freedom fighters by the west's government and media - who then 'struggle' to call them 'extremists' now they've crossed the border to takeover Iraq where they've committed thousands of assassinations in just the first few days.

Needlessly, Fifa showed the ball had NOT crossed the line when it struck the woodwork, then confirmed it did seconds later after it bounced off Valladares. Pearce, though, still did not get it.

Jonathan Pearce Confused By Goal-Line Technology During France V Honduras
Fifa's determination to show off its goal-line technology to the watching world at theWorld Cup finally served a purpose during France and Honduras' Group E clash in Porto Alegre, however one man left confused was Jonathan Pearce.
This is somewhat ironic, since BBC commentator Pearce used to commentate onRobot Wars yet malfunctioned as football's robots proved France had scored a second goal.
Karim Benzema met Yohan Cabaye's cross and hit the post, however the ball bounced off Honduras goalkeeper Noel Valladares and crossed the line. Goal. Two-nil France. Try telling that to Pearce.

"The whole goal line technology debate will flare up again," he shrilled. No, Jonathan. It won't. Pearce, however, still labelled it "controversial".
To compound the worst Pearce performance since Stuart's against West Germany in 1990, he incorrectly though Blaise Matuidi had scored when he hit the side netting.
